Gastrocnemius stretching
Stand up straight holding onto a supportive surface.
Step your affected leg backwards.
Make sure your toes are facing forwards and your heel is on the floor.
Keeping your knee straight on your back leg, lean forwards until you feel a stretch in your calf.
The front knee will bend.
Hold this position.
