Cable Machine Supported Hip Extension

Stand on one leg on top of a step, facing a cable machine using a pole for support.
With the cable attached at the lower position, attach the cuff to your opposite ankle.
Take the strain of the weight and stand facing the machine.
Have a slight bend in both knees.
Move your leg backwards until you feel a strain in your glutes.
Slowly, under control, allow your leg to return back to the starting position.
Repeat for the required number of repetitions and then perform with the other leg.
